What we DO?

Knowledge about mental health, substance use, alcohol consumption, and other important well-being topics has not been completely focused on in our world. Especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a significant rise in drug use and depression. Many youths are not able to speak out on these issues, and we hope to provide a platform for youth to become advocates in their own community and promote living a healthy lifestyle among their peers.

Youth Encouraging Healthy Lifestyles lets youth create and present informative presentations, research various topics, write to legislators, and write blogs and posts on social media to emphasize choosing a healthy lifestyle. We have created committees to allow students to advocate in the way that they want to, whether it means making interactive posts on social media or going to schools to share informative presentations. We are motivated to provide opportunities for all our students. Our goal is to spread awareness and end the negative stigmas associated with these problems. We want our future generations to be healthy and live happy lives.
